Gary Scott was named president of general brokerage of Long & Foster Real Estate in 2010. Presently, he oversees approximately one-half of Long & Foster Real Estate’s brokerage business and is responsible for the Baltimore, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and central and southern Virginia regions. Scott is committed to ensuring that Long & Foster maintains its position as market leader and continues its reputation as a real estate company committed to its sales associates and their customers. He is also committed to continuing to provide Long & Foster sales associates with the latest tools and technologies to keep ahead of the industry. Scott entered the real estate business in 1986 in Delaware with his father’s company, B. Gary Scott REALTORSⓇ, where he was the top performing sales associate. From 1993 to 1998, he was the general manager for Patterson Schwartz. In 1998 Scott relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina to join the Allen Tate Company.
